To print the workbook, click on the Print
button on the toolbar or select
->. This will open Print Sheets
dialog shown in Figure 11-1. This
dialog allows you to set basic printing options. More detailed
printing options can be set using the Print
Setup, discussed in Section 11.2.
To send the file to the printer, select
Printer radiobutton, enter the printing
command (by default, lpr), and click
Print. You can also enter any options
accepted by lpr command (see
lpr manual page for complete list of options).
For example, to print to a printer named
MyPrinter, enter lpr
-PMyPrinter.
To print to a file, select File, enter
filename and press Print. The output will
be saved in this file in PostScript format.
To preview the output, click on Preview
at the bottom of the screen.
This dialog also allows you to select whether you want to print
the whole workbook or only part of it. Possible choices are:
If you need to change your paper size, scale the output to fit
the page, or change other settings, see the Section 11.2.
