Hooch, Pieter de

Hooch also spelled HOOGH, or HOOGHE (baptized Dec. 20, 1629, Rotterdam, Neth.--d. c. 1684, Amsterdam?), Dutch genre painter of the Delft school, noted for his interior scenes and use of light.
