 A Cracked Installshield Script to enable you to *install*
 ---------------------------------------------------------
 PGP Desktop Security Version 6.5 on a win95/98 box.
 ---------------------------------------------------

0) Backup your PGP keyrings, just in case!  You have been warned.
   Also, backup your registry, if you don't know how to do that
   please do not proceed.

1) Open the c:\windows\temp\ in a separate window.

2) Create a scratch directory to be used for storage.

3) Run the PGP 6.5 installer.

4) Wait till you get the Alert Box entitled "Severe" containing
   this message:-
   "This product runs only on Windows NT 4.0".

5) Do not click OK in the above Alert box yet!

6) Go to c:\windows\temp\

7) There should be a directory there by the name of PGP1dxxx where
   xxx are some random digits.

8) Copy the folder in 7) and place it in the directory which you
   created in 2).

9) You may now click the ok of the alert dialog box.

10) Now go to the directory you created in 2) open PGP1dxxx\Disk1\.

11) Replace the setup.ins file which is there, with the hacked one
    provided in this archive.

12) You may now run setup.exe to install PGP 6.5 on your win95/98 box.

 Some words of warning:
 ----------------------

1) Do not install PGPDisk (PGPdisk Volume Security) - a definate NO NO.

2) Do not install PGPnet Virtual Private Networking (I have not tested it).

3) After you are done evaluating it, please un-install it.  I am not sure
   how well bahaved 6.5 will run on a win95/98 box.
