CODEPAGE
Shows the active codepage and many more information about the current
status of DISPLAY and the codepage buffers
CODEPAGE REFRESH
Refreshes the active codepage to hardware (in case it has been
accidentaly destroyed)
CODEPAGE PREPARE ([,]...n) <file>
Prepare codepage nnn from file
You use the commas to specify which buffer of DISPLAY you want to fill
(for example, (,,850) to fill the third buffer).
The format of the files is a RAW file until version 0.09 of DISPLAY, and
a regular CPI file from 0.10 onwards.
CODEPAGE SELECT nnn
Activates a previously prepared codepage.
Notes
CODEPAGE can be abbreviated to CP
PREPARE can be abbreviated to PREP
SELECT can be abbreviated to SEL
Codepages
These are the basic set of codepages available as RAW files with
MODECON/DISPLAY:
CPxxx Label
437 DOS United States
850 DOS Latin-1, multilingual
852 DOS Latin-2, multilingual with Euro
858 DOS Latin-1, multilingual with Euro
860 DOS Portugal
863 DOS Canadian French
865 DOS Nordic
Note:
Cp858 provides the Euro sign in place of the small dotless
"i" found in cp850. All the rest between them is the same.
