This demo program Fast Unzip is written in Delphi 3 and uses TopSpeed Unzip Library for Delphi 3 . The TopSpeed Unzip Library for Delphi 3 is written in Delphi for Delphi with high optimized inline assembler 32 bit code and provides the fastest way to extract zip files. No DLLs. Supports PKZip 2.XX or later. It is supplied as a single tiny compiled unit (DCU file with size 20 Kb) with description of interface functions and the source of this demo program.

Performance benchmarks

This is a test on 13453 Kb zip file, containing 1501 files with total uncompressed size 29641 Kb (Netscape Communicator 4.01 + cache files). Computer is Pentium/75 16 Mb RAM.
