Short: If you have no fastmemory Author: Kyzer/CSG Uploader: Kyzer/CSG Type: util/boot Architecture: m68k-amigaos This is a set of utilities to allow you to run bad software that 'demands' Fast memory, when you have no fast memory yourself. ffm: (short for FakeFastMemory) If you have no Fast memory, this will try to turn exactly half of your memory into Fast memory. It will flash green if it succeeds. ffm.boot: Bootblock version of the above. Hold the left mouse button when booting to skip this utility. Flashes green/red on success/failure. Install it with a bootblock installer, for example VirusZ II Bootblock Lab (not included). NoFast: A permanent patch to remove the Fastmem flag from your system. When installed, your computer will no longer know that Fast memory is any different from other memory. All programs are 1.3 compatible. **************************************************************************** * THIS PROGRAM IS PART OF THE "KYZER'S SMALLS" COLLECTION * * The KyzSmlClxn is a set of small yet useful commands. * * * * Commands are installed by copying them to your C: directory. * * Source is included, and is licensed under the GNU GPL version 2. * * * * Email Kyzer/CSG or see the website at http://zap.to/kyz * ****************************************************************************
