Short: PageStream4 arexx script - PDF file "printer" Author: Michael.Merkel@gmx.net (Michael Merkel) Uploader: Michael Merkel gmx net (Michael Merkel) Type: text/dtp Version: 1.50 (21.07.2002) Replaces: text/dtp/MUIPDFPrinter.lha Architecture: generic ABOUT ----- This is an ARexx script for PageStream4. Give it a PDF file and it *tries* to place the single pages of this PDF file on separate pages of the current PageStream document (several pages at one). After that you can simply print/save it as PostScript file and view/print it with GhostScript. DISTRIBUTION ------------ Spread it! Use it! _Write me!_ REQUIREMENTS ------------ * PageStream4 (of course!!!) * MUI * current version of rxMUI (Aminet! or http://web.tiscalinet.it/amiga/rxmui/) * current version of GhostScript (Aminet!) * current version of EpsLab (Aminet!) INSTALLATION ------------ * extract this archive to your RAM disk * copy the complete drawer "MUIPDFPrinter" with all files to your "PageStream:Scripts" path USAGE ----- * select "Play External Script" in PageStream and chose the script "MUIPDFPrinter.rexx" inside the "PageStream:Scripts/MUIPDFPrinter" drawer * use the default setting as start and chose a PDF file * start and look (may take a little time, depending on the PDF file) HISTORY ------- V0.01-V0.02 (Jul 1999 - internal) V1.00 (01. Jan 2002 - first release) * rewritten the GUI of MUIPDFPrinter to use rxMUI! rxMUI has much more power than MUIRexx and is more class like developing. It's simply better and currently in development. * added possibility to select more than one PDF file V1.50 (21. Jul 2002) * added feature of my AddTiffPreview.rexx script (Aminet) I wanted for the generated EPS files a TIFF preview is added so it also can be printed on non-postscript pinters. For this EpsLab (Aminet) is needed and must be installed *properly*.
