Short: An acoustic experience done by the LynX using MED Type: mods/med Architecture: generic Release 1: I'm really enjoying myself! I never really thought that I would learn how to get along with a Tracka-derivate software.. but MED is really nice to use if you get used to it.. And I never thought I could make cool music if I don't have the freedom of a rhythm other than straight 4/4 or 6/8 as I do when working with professional sequencers. My 'mod' runs and runs... I left it running while editing this readme and I can't get bored of it.. *grin* A funny feature how mods usually start over and make the music endless.. And though I usually get easily bored about repetitive music I still can't stop hearing these sounds.. In fact I've put a lot of stereo effects in, sounds pan from left to right channel and back.. not switch, pan! I bet you'll like it.. And it's only 30K long.. Wow! Reminds me that I'm an efficiency addict. ;) Hey but don't get me wrong. This is no jazz piece. It ain't no real house either.. It's very much like Kraftwerk, astonishingly. I thought I'd never manage to sound like them. However the casual housish elements dekraftwerkize it a bit. ESPECIALLY the saxophone, a VERY unkraftwerkly sound! ;) Still, the beginning measures sound pretty much like Tour De France. Noticed? Release 2: As I suggested above, I added the techno fashion orchestra hits and a melody for two saxophones. I also spent some time revamping the dynamics at different points. -lynx
