Aurox Live 1.2.0
Bootable Linux distribution based on Aurox Linux

This is initial release of the Live (i.e. bootable
directly from CD-ROM - without installing) edition 
of Aurox Linux 9.2.

Aurox Linux is a free Linux distribution available
on Internet and on CD-ROMs published with quarterly 
Aurox Linux magazine in many countries (and with other
magazines, too).

This edition has NVidia binary drivers 44.96 and
Macromedia Flash plugin installed. 

Aurox Live 1.2.0 contains:
- KDE 3.1.4 (default graphical desktop)
- Web browsers Mozilla 1.5 and KDE's Konqueror
- Office suites (KOffice 1.2.1, OpenOffice 1.1.0)
- Multimedia support: sound (XMMS 1.2.8) and movie players

By default 'nvidia'  binary driver is used instead o
f XFree86's 'nv'. To use opensource driver, 
start CD with:

aurox xmodule=nv

typed at the boot prompt. If you have problems with
graphical modes, safe bet would be:

nofb xmodule=vesa

for most of video cards.

For more options, type F1 at the boot screen.

To boot, you need IDE or SCSI CD-ROM. USB drives
are not supported. If you have USB keyboard, type e.g.

aurox nolang en

to run with English language interface.
